How experienced are Dr. Amerian and Dr. Anterasian with the Fraxel procedure?
Our office has been performing Fraxel skin resurfacing for many years. Dr. Anterasian has personally performed over 5000 Fraxel procedures and has extensive experience with this laser. Our patients have been very happy with the results we have achieved. Over the years, the Fraxel laser has been a homerun when it comes to skin rejuvenation and overall improvement in the appearance of the skin.
Who actually performs the Fraxel procedure?
In our office, only board certified physicians perform Fraxel treatments, not a nurse. We perform multiple passes (usually eight passes) over the skin in order to be certain that our patients receive excellent Fraxel results. We take great care to ensure that our Fraxel laser treatments are thorough, even, and uniform.
Is the Fraxel procedure performed the same way in every office?
No. In many offices a nurse performs the procedure. In our office, only board certified and experienced physicians perform the Fraxel laser procedure. In addition, many offices perform fewer passes than we do. These treatments are less effective and can be uneven. Our office does not recommend and does not perform these less effective Fraxel laser treatments.
